The Church of Isekai
Are cross-dimensional trips real? Some believe so and the believers come together in The Church or Isekai. For most it's just a great safe place to hang out with the fantasy-minded crowd. But what if the leader is actually someone who went through hell and back, was surrounded by death and learned to use its powers to reach new heights and to save the lives of many...

What if a very bookish teen, who "knows" how a hero is supposed to behave, is faced with the Real-Live decisions from which he can't retreat into the comfort of his home? What if those are choices not between Good and Evil but rather between Evil and a Greater Evil? How does he find a motivation to go on improving the World around him? Is there a point at which he can just leave the New Society to live happily without him? He read plenty of history books to know examples of the Well-Meaning leaders becoming horrible tyrants and Societies deteriorating without a Strong Leader.

How do you make the People happy, or at least happier than they were before, if the only power their potential "rescuer" has is the power of Necromancy - commonly not the type expected to be used for "Good"

About the Author

To Meow or Not to Meow, is not a question
For Meowing is concurrent with Paw-Licking
To lick one’s paw, while tail performs its flicking
To lay upon a shelf while looking downwards
Upon a cup that had performed its purpose
By sliding first propelled by gentle pushing
Then flying downward, quickly floor approaching
And smashing into many shiny pieces
Under a deeply fascinated stare.

To purr contently letting out deep rumbling
Having partaken greatly of smoked sausage
That flesh is yummy... 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To nap, to sleep;
To sleep, perchance to dream—ay, there's the rub
The rub upon the belly - allow it then perform
A vicious scratching upon the hand that dared it…

To hiss and scratch the door your life bemoaning
Demand to be released from the enclosure
Then scream outside awakening the neighbors
Demanding for return to be permitted, then lo!
Escape to undiscovere'd country, from whence
No traveler returns, puzzle the will of human,
Ignoring “pst-pst-pst” and “missing” posters

Then just show up one day on ye old doorsteps
Fluff back into good graces of the human
Stare at the ceiling - what’s more captivating
Than fly that others know not of? Then Dashing
Is enterprise of greatest pith and moment
And vases lost in action.
