I first watched the anime and decided i wanted to buy the light novels and mangas. This entire series is great and I hope to see more of it soon.

Great Series! I watched this when it was coming out as an anime. It definitely is hilarious and it's crazy scenarios keep you begging for more. I have not read the light novels yet, but I have read the first volume of the manga. So far I like the anime better. The anime stretches the story out which allows for more humorous moments. The manga seemed rushed. It doesn't allow it to go into much detail on certain events in which the anime goes into great detail on. If it's your first time ever touching this series, you will probably love it. However, if you watched the anime and expect this manga to be the same or even better, in my opinion so far it's not. However, since it is rushed, it may allow for the story line to progress more. That means it may show what happens after what the anime dropped off at. I still love the series regardless and plan to buy every book that comes out either way. Hope this helps!

Yes, I most certainly would like fries with my hellfire. This book was phenomenally made, the story was original, the setting was not really new, but with the background more than making up for that by placing an unusual set of characters into a common setting more than makes up for it, the characters are quite fleshed out, from the cool and cynical Devil King who is suprisingly ingenius but boastful, to the short tempered overzealous Emilia Justina, to the butt kissing but intelligent and clever Alciel. The plot is masterfully created, and the ending was quite fun,  and just as I was getting tired of the book, it ended, which meant the length was perfect too, all in all, if your're looking for something different, this book is perfect.
