Overview

What do gods do when they're bored? What does anyone do? They play games. This game, however, has every living being's lives in the balance. The gods have chosen their seven champions to complete each dungeon that they've made. The champions must complete the dungeons before time runs out or before they're killed by the combined numbers of every living being.

About the Author

Cody Schaefer is a line cook with nothing better to do other than write a book and cook. The books he generally writes are high fantasy (or epic fantasy, same thing) litrpgs and Syfy books. The themes he usually gravitates to are all about action, adventure, and character development. Doing so allows him to have fun writing the books, and he can keep going without stopping…until he gets hungry, that is. He’s been writing the first dungeons book for the past six months, and it’s only part one of the book. He still has two more parts of the book to go, and he only just started on them. Past that, he works in a kitchen all day cooking and listening to audiobooks; when he’s not there, he’s at his college-going for a degree.
When he first started writing the book Wrath, he had no idea if it would be good or not. So, he asked a friend who loves reading books to check out what he had. The friend immediately said to post it on RoyalRoad, and so he did. And he didn’t regret a single thing about that; RoyalRoad gave him the freedom to post his book and get feedback on it. For the most part, it’s been positive… except for a two-star rating on chapter nine, which he doesn’t blame them for, but he would like to know why. Anywho, he’s got lots more books coming soon and just as much witty banter and traumatizing fights planned in the future. If anyone just can’t wait to read part two of the book, find it on RoyalRoad. Or, if you want to check out his Syfy series that he’s working on, you can also find it on RoyalRoad. Enjoy!
