The First Family tells a story about the origins of a new country founding its borders in central Europe. These people came from the migrating Huns, the adventurous Vikings, and the roaming Rus tribes from the steppes. This story is about one of the first families to fight for the establishment of their new nation and its new Christian God. Their love for their country and religious beliefs were closely welded. Their faith, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, was universal throughout their land. She was their patron and protector. Their faith in Her was the glue hat cemented Poland with its people for ten centuries. The 'Polans' as they called themselves, were lovers of the earth and for their horses. A warlord called Andrej becomes the patriarch of a family destined to see this new land through its glorious and sorrowful times to come.
