Overview

The Flight of Oscar is the story of a mouse who wears plaid shirts, which he makes himself, and has a fascination with flying. Well, he can't fly but he really wants to. One day, after watching and studying the birds in flight (which he did a lot), he makes a plan that he hopes will get him up in the air. During his trials, he makes a new friend who understands his passion and may be able to help Oscar realize his dream.

About the Author

I am a Western New York native (Finger Lakes region) and driving school bus is my main profession right now. I will sometimes tell the children on the bus quick stories when we find ourselves waiting for school to open if we’re really early arriving. Most times I will just put my own “twist” on an existing tale but I also make up my own from time to time. My monitor Brenda Lockwood used to tell me that I should write a book one day. So, I did.
