About the Author

Born and raised? in San Diego since 1996, Eddy Young graduated from San Diego State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's in Political Science. Young drew inspiration from Orwell's 1984 and The Hunger Games to write The Forsaken. He is also a freelancer on Fiverr.com, specialized in editing, critiquing, and giving feedback in any writing. His favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, which also inspired him to write and continue exploring some of its themes.

Very well written fantasy novel written by a talented young author. The characters are compelling, and the journey is a rollercoaster of emotions. This is a very harsh and unforgiving world that still has much light and hope. A great sequel though and through. Would highly recommend to anybody!
