About the Author

Christopher J. LaForce was born in Massena, New York. He was raised in nearby Chase Mills, one of fourteen children, attending and graduating from the Madrid-Waddington (MWCS) school system. He later graduated from The (Joe) Kubert School (of graphic art).
Chris was employed in various occupations, including commercial art, before drifting into the telecommunications industry in 1996. He left that field in 2019 as a design engineer and is now a freelance proofreader and an author. He lives in Taylors, South Carolina with his wife Amy, their children, and a flock of pet birds.
In 2013, Chris had his first book published: The Choynski Chronicles, a biography of hall-of-fame boxer Joe Choynski. A biography of boxing legend “Syracuse” Tommy Ryan is in the works. The Further Adventures of David and the Phoenix is Chris’s second book.
