About the Author

Takis Tridimas joined the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary, University of London in 2004. He has previously acted as a referendaire at the European Court of Justice, a senior legal adviser to the EU Presidency held by Greece and was also Chairman of the Committee for the Drafting of the EU Accession Treaty (2003). Professor Tridimas is also an Advocate at the Bar of Athens and a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe in Brugge. He is also the editor of the Oxford Yearbook of European Law, with Piet Eeckhout.
