About the Author

Marcia was inspired to write The Gifts of Christmas as a way to explain to her daughters the connection between Santa Clause placing gifts under her Christmas tree and her family's celebration of Jesus's birthday on Christmas day. Marcia lives with her husband, twin daughters, two dogs and cat in Northwest Indiana who have inspired her illustrations in The Gifts of Christmas. Marcia's hope is that her book will help parents bridge the gap between the story of Santa Clause and the story of Jesus and ultimately spread the word of God.
