Overview

Sarah Lea Solomon, a native of North Platte, Nebraska is suddenly forced into a life that goes far beyond human reasoning. Something has altered the cornfield at the Old Franklin Farm out on old county road 183. Sarah struggles with the truth about her genetic make up, the new neighbor Mr. Adams who is the caretaker of the farm and the man she thought she knew. She is forced to understand the reality of who or what her mother really is, and that the inevitable is the only solution to the death of one world and the birth of a new one.

About the Author

William A. Coman is the youngest of three children. His mother, Sarah is a retired nurse of 46 years; his father died in 1998. Born and raised near the Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee, Coman has never been married and has no children. He has lived on the open road since 2006 and had the same career since 1989. Coman began writing The Harvesters in 2005. The story was based on a vision from 1997. He wrote the final chapter, The Harvesters "A World Within A World" in 2006.
