The Holocaust of Triggerization: The Scourge of the African American Nation
Written from the gritty perspective of a man, who escaped the streets of Detroit by the grace of God, author John McClane has survived, to tell a necessary story - a story that many in the African-American community sense deep in their souls - a story that gets drowned out by the noise of 'popular' black culture... In the Holocaust of Triggerization, McClane courageously dissects, piece-by-piece, the African-American syndrome that he calls, 'triggerization, ' the syndrome that aborts the potential of millions of otherwise brilliant human beings. In a sweeping narrative that covers cultural, economic, historic, sociological, and spiritual perspectives, McClane bares his soul, sharing his personal story about the devastating effects of triggerization upon his childhood. While acknowledging the effects of racism in the book, McClane does not rest on the laurels of popular black thought, that is lightning fast to blame all black ills upon white racism, while ignoring our own contributions to our present plight. This book offers profound insight on the following: *Identity Theft - African-American Style *How our Culture is killing us *The Electronic Plantation *Our Music - Our Drug*The Role of the Black Church *The Origins of Racism & White Privilege *How to use our Aggression for us - not Against us *Mindsets we must have - Yesterday *Solutions we can use - Today *How our Past points us to our Tomorrow
