The House of Sands is a short story about a brother and sister Sam and Lizzy finding that their kitchen cabinet is a portal to another world called the desert world. This book is for people that would like a short read, and that enjoy trilogies because there are two books after this one. I wrote this book for these reasons: 1. At the point of publishing, I was very interested in mythology 2. As previously stated I was interested in mythology so I wanted my first book to be mythology related 3. I was not familiar with publishing so I wanted my first book to be a simple yet powerful read. So those were the reasons. I hope you enjoy my first book.
