The Inequality Equalizer is a great guide for anyone looking to get ahead in their careers and achieve their goals. This book is full of practical advice, research, studies, strategies, and real stories from Jena Abernathy's career. Some chapters also have bullet point lists so that the reader can get a specific idea of what skills need to be mastered. These are super helpful, especially if you like to make lists for everything like I do. Jena shoots straight with the reader from the beginning, and she addresses topics that some readers may not even realize are the issues keeping them from success. While there is a specific focus on advancing to the C Suite, Jena's strategies and advice can be applied by business owners as well. My spouse and I own a small business, and there was so much we took away from this book. Each chapter had something that was insightful or motivating for us. It has helped us evaluate how we interact with clients, how we network, and how we set goals for our business. All of the real-life stories she tells are great too! I would recommend this book to college students, young professionals, seasoned professionals, and business owners.
