After a near-fatal heroic crash, Kate reinvents herself in body, mind, and spirit. During reinvention, she reacquaints herself with a talent and profession from her past. She's invited to Japan to work as a voice-over actor on a film set. Unfortunately, the night she arrives, Tokyo goes into lockdown for Covid. She's thrust into a unique sequestering situation, which lands her in a lavish hotel while scoring the most extravagant premier double suite. She soon discovers that she is sharing the suite with the film's dashing lead actor, and she quickly finds him arrogant, irritating, and completely unrelatable. They are suite mates in an elegant but inescapable situation, so they must figure out a way to cohabitate.

Every chapter is a unique challenge for Kate in self-discovery, navigating relationships, or both. Kate, in her journey, meets several, mostly much younger men that she's attracted to, who in their own unique ways, try to get her to settle into a committed relationship.

About the Author

This is the first novel for KS Summers, with two other completed books of the trilogy to follow shortly. KS focuses on what she calls a romantic, seductive, soap opera saga style of writing which has a more in-depth story arc, with more lead characters and entangled developments than your average romance novel.

Ms. Summers is a retired teacher and musician who has performed and taught studio music professionally. She also was an instructor of jazz studies, speech, communications, teen leadership, and technology.

When she’s not writing, she enjoys music, crafts, reading, sports, and traveling. Born and raised in California, she now resides in Nashville, along with her husband of 26 years, two dogs, and a Cockatiel.
