About the Author

Stephen Albert earned a master's from the University of Iowa and is a graduate of the University of California and Westmont College. A master gardener in the Sonoma Valley of California, he designs edible and flowering gardens for clients around the country. He teaches in both the landscape design and writing programs at the extension college of the University of California at Berkeley and is a certified California nurseryman.
