About the Author

Priscilla Ann Willis was born and raised in San Diego with her parents, Paul Allen Willis, and Ardelle Pauline Dykstra Willis, her sister Pamela Ardelle, and two brothers Paul Allen Jr. and Preston Lee. Growing up Priscilla enjoyed hearing her dad tell stories about her grandmother, Mattie Hardwick, and family members.
At the age of 17, she married and had her first daughter, Andrea, at 18 and her second daughter, Shana, at 19. When her daughters were in middle school, she went to college and received her associate, bachelor, and master degrees. She received her degrees while working full time as a purchasing manager at manufacturing companies.
With her master’s degree in management, she taught English, management, and purchasing – logistic classes for seven years part-time at Riverside Community College while working full time.
She also received her preliminary California teaching credential, single subject English. She was a substitute teacher for 10 years at the Irvine and Tustin Unified School Districts in California.
She retired January 2021. Currently, enjoying retirement and vacations with her husband.
