About the Author

RL Ahmad, born Rahimah Lailah Ahmad in the early 1980’s, to Muslim American parents, is the youngest daughter of a very large family. She was homeschooled by her amazing mother and excelled academically and creatively.
Her mother, a teacher and an artist, encouraged her endlessly to create and always write everything down. Her father, an Imam and a contractor, inspired her to use her beautiful mind to construct her life.
Rahimah Lailah would carry these tools with her into adulthood. The many unexpected twists and turns along the way have given rise to a rich array of experiences for her to write about.
She resides in Milton, Massachusetts with her two equally magnificent children whom she loves to nurture and guide.
