Formatted similarly to his previous cookbook, this latest collection by Pressure Luck blogger and YouTube star Eisner (The Step-By-Step Instant Pot Cookbook) features step-by-step instructions, each accompanied by color photographs, as well as timing specifics, such as prep time, pressure building time, release time, and total cook time. However, the theme here is "lighter fare," so the substantial introduction includes lower calorie ingredient substitutions, along with detailed instructions for Instant Pot use in general. Recipes focus on hearty soups, entrees, and sides, with a few desserts. All include nutritional information and icons indicating whether a dish is dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, or vegetarian, or whether it requires the air fryer lid attachment. The same icons are included in each entry of the excellent table of contents, making it quick and easy to see which recipes meet specific dietary requirements.
