The Linen Cloths: ...Jesus left behind
That Jesus lived and was crucified is accepted as historical fact, but what about the resurrection? Two artifacts reputed to be Jesus's burial cloths and the only remaining physical evidence of the Crucifixion exist: The Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo. Carbon dating suggests the the Shroud is less than 1,000 years old. Other findings suggest it is much older. What is the truth? And can that truth tell us anything about the Resurrection?Written in his trademark, easy-to-read style, Michael L. Dourson skillfully weaves scripture and science in story form to make his case: the Shroud is not only real, it holds the key to the greatest mystery of the Christian religion.

About the Author

Michael Leonard Dourson has a doctoral degree in toxicology from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. He works as a Professor of Environmental Science in the Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment Center at this same institute. He also leads Bible study classes at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and the Lucas Community Center in Lucas, Ohio, and through this activity, discovered a love of integrating science concepts with Biblical text. The Linen Cloths Jesus left behind is the third book in a series devoted to this love.

Michael is happily married to his first wife, Martha, a farmer's daughter, turned lawyer. They have 3 lovely children, three lovely children-in law, and three grandchildren. Mike now considers himself fortunate to be number 10 on Martha's list of favorite people.
