Juel Maerz is a philosopher, poet and teacher. Her degrees include: B.A. Philosophy/Environmental Studies, B.Ed., M.Ed. She works as an early childhood Literacy Specialist. The Little Philosophers and the Tree of Knowledge is the first in The Little Philosophers series that includes three more upcoming books: Whose of Truth, Conscious Stream of Wisdom, and Joy of Life. Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Juel now lives in the little surfing and fishing community of Seaforth, Nova Scotia with her family in a home they built together.
