The Looking Glass: Reflections
The Looking Glass is a selection of poems about perception, more specifically, how one interprets past experiences; how we see ourselves; how we perceive but also misperceive other people, and how those mis-perceptions can be corrected. I believe that within my own limited perceptions, mis-perceptions and self-corrections, I speak of universal phenomena. In the chapter, "Celebrating People," I have chosen to affirm specific individuals of the qualities I see in them and to call forth the potential I believe them to possess. This is something we can all do to empower one another.
