Name the great wits from early 20th century and they're here at the Algonquin Round Table: George Kauffman, Alexnder Woolcott, Dorothy Parker, Robert Benchley, and on and on - They don't make 'em like that anymore. This is a fun, fun read!

This is a good selection of material from the Round Table, and representative of their talents. For the most part, the humor is timeless, and the short stories are excellent. The theater criticism is obviously dated, but interesting nevertheless. My favorites are Franklin Pierce Adams, Dorothy Parker, and Alexander Woolcott, but I also enjoyed Robert Benchley and Robert Sherwood. If you are familiar with the Round Table and this time period, this is a very interesting and enjoyable collection!
