THE PIZZA PI'S BOOK ONE titled The Missing Bullet tells an enduring story about a thirteen yr. old boy woken in the wee hours of the morning to gun shots and a woman's screams. Thinking his dad is watching a late movie he tries to go back to sleep. When Jason realizes his mom is the one screaming he jumps out of bed to find her shaken and standing in the darken hallway pointing a gun directly at him. Turning on his parent's bedroom light he discovers his dad has been shot. Calling 911 Jason says "my mom shot my dad" this comes back later to haunt him. His mom claims intruders were in her house and that she shot them. Detective Buretty is convinced the mom is guilty of shooting her husband and he is adamant about putting her behind bars. Jason and his best friends are convinced his mom is innocent so together they set a plan in motion to find the missing bullet bringing Jason's mom home for Christmas.

Liliane Thomas lives in Keswick, Ontario Canada with her husband Les. She has been writing and telling stories entertaining children of all ages for over 35 years. The Missing Bullet was originally written for her youngest daughter Chrissy when she was then twelve yrs. old living in Round Rock, Texas, USA. Writing has been Thomas´ passion and now at this stage of her career she says, "It's absolutely wonderful to be capable of writing everyday and to see my first book in print". THE PIZZA PI'S series allows the author to expand her stories in suspense form giving readers, young and old, the opportunity to read a great mystery and develop a relationship with her characters Jason, Chrissy, Barry and Melissa.
