So, to "Ruby's Tracks." I can see your enthusiasm for the "cosy murder" genre. I'm the impatient sort, who'd jump to the end of a mystery to figure out who the killer is, and why - but in this case, I found it a gripping read throughout, and I devoured the book in a single sitting. "Ruby's Tracks" is a solid murder mystery, well-written, with plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing, right up to the denouement.

Someone once told me that a murder mystery's purpose is to allow the reader to come up with the murderer's identity at least one page before the detective does. I love how you kept every suspect valid, with an apparently solid motive or something suspicious in their background, right up to the point where each suspect was cleared until only the murderer remained. I also like how you tied up all the loose ends. A professional touch.

I can imagine this book drawing comparisons to a certain, much older, murder mystery novel set aboard a transeuropean locomotive that got stuck in the snow. However, "Ruby's Tracks" with its diverse cast stands on its own merits. I'm sure I'll enjoy many more murder mysteries featuring this detective team which you might publish to Amazon.

Thank you for a very nice, professionally-written murder mystery. As it forms part of a series, I admit that this is a series of which I'd like to see more.
