I have read a lot of anti-evolution, pro-creation works, and this one is readily organized as a reference work and concise in its explanations. Edited by Ken Ham, its multiple-author, by-topic arrangement makes for excellent, to-the-point clarity not often found in either more exhaustive scientific expositions or church-cliché works. The precision of the authors¿ reasoning makes me kick myself I was not more thoughtful in undergraduate work about evolution. But, who would have known from schooling that Carbon-14 and radioisotope dating has been shown often unreliable with the assumptions about parent and daughter elements, that the decay rate has not been observed, assumptions that the decay rate is consistent or assumptions that the element tested originally contained only parent isotopes? Who would have known from public school that project teams have tested newly formed rocks from volcanoes around the world and they have been dated at millions of years old when they are only under a year old or within a few decades? Who would have known from schooling that 'mutation', the engine that drives Darwinism¿s natural selection to evolving, advanced life forms, never adds data to DNA but mutation consistently results in less information within a DNA strand? I like the uncompromising stance of the authors who put the Bible first, their models second, but without the fanaticism of single-dimensional interpretations. A joy to read, refreshing, it makes science fun, again, by making the mind think, instead of memorizing evolution¿s theoretical steps.

I was almost afraid to open this book because of the popular perception that creationists are not worthy to be called scientists. However, I was glad that I did. I have a Biology degree but I did not find this book unscientific. It actually makes an excellent case for the young earth creationist viewpoint and is well reasoned and well written by a variety of degreed scientists. One of its strengths is that it is a collection of essays rather than a book written by just one writer. It does not shy from discussing difficult questions in an intelligent way. Readers who are not completely close-minded will benefit from reading it. I highly recommend it and have had to buy more than one copy since friends keep borrowing it.

This book is an amazing source of information for apologetics, I would recommend this the every Christian looking for information to defend thief faith. This book explains the folly of evolution, our belief in a six day creation. And It goes into depth about the biblical view of dinosaurs.
