About the Author

Chandran Nair, founder and CEO of the Global Institute for Tomorrow (GIFT), is the projecect director and originator of The Other Hundred. Born in Malaysia, he has lived and worked in Europe, Africa and across Asia.

Pankaj Mishra was born in northwest India in 1969 and lives in London and Mashobra, India. He has published fiction and non-fiction and writes for the New Yorker, the New York Review of Books, the New York Times Book Review, and the Guardian.
