Rhys Bowen is the pen name of English author Janet Quin-Harkin (1941). Quin-Harkin has written three popular historical mystery series under the name Bowen including The Constable Evan Evans, Lady Georgiana, and Molly Murphy series. She has won the Agatha Award twice, in 2001 for Murphy's Law and again in 2011 for Naughty in Nice.
