About the Author

Richard Collins is the author of The Land as Viewed from the Sea, which was short-listed for the Whitbread Book Award and Wales Book of the Year. He is a former lecturer at the institute of Rural Science at Llanbadarn, Wales; he retired due to the early onset of Parkinson's disease.
