About the Author

Adam Holt was raised in Houston near the Johnson Space Center, where his father worked for NASA in Mission Control during the Apollo missions. He was born into the space program and did not realize how special that was until he left Houston. "Your dad put men on the Moon? No way!"

He attended Baylor University for his undergrad, where he played on the men's volleyball team. After graduation, he moved to California for a year and then back to Texas. He attended SMU for his grad degree, and taught English at Greenhill School in Dallas for a decade; however, he left teaching to devote himself to the Tully Harper Series. He responds to fan tweets: @adamholtwrites.

He still coaches and plays volleyball, travels when he has time, loves anything by Victor Hugo, C.S. Lewis, and Rick Riordan, and cherishes the crunchy boom of a rocket launch.
