The Red Fog of Time

Kathie, Jamie and six-year old Amelia leave with their parents to drive 1200 km to South West Rocks on the coast. They encounter a violent storm and a red fog that envelops them. When they emerge, they find that they have reached their destination, but there is no town, no signs of civilisation, no campsite, but their parents seem unaware that anything is wrong. Amelia displays extraordinary connection with the wild life and then heals Kathie when she is bitten by a Brown Snake. They soon realise that they have travelled many hundreds of years into the past. The three children must show great courage and determination to cope with the situation, to understand the truth with Amelia and somehow find a way home again.

About the Author

Michael Davies began writing as an antidote to many hours spent on long-haul international flights and nights spent in hotels around the world. He has lived and worked in the UK, Canada, the USA, Australia and South East Asia. His first book, a psychological thriller entitled "Dreamkill" was published in the USA in 1996 and has been followed by more than twenty other books in the thriller and sci-fi genre. Most of his work now is with schools where he will spend 8-10 hours of workshops with a class of students and jointly develop a full-scale novel. He now lives on a 100 acre estate near the coast of NSW, Australia.
