About the Author

C. Dewayne Hinnant is an Author, advocate, motivational speaker, and husband who lives in Durham, North Carolina (Bull City). During the time he’s lived in Durham, he often speaks about a variety of issues which plagues his community and how to bring about change. He is the father of five children, three daughters and two sons. One daughter lives in Philadelphia, she’s about to become a first time mom. Another’s in her freshman year of college, and the other daughter will be starting college next year, both to become healers. He’s working to raise his sons to be gentleman and to be men of standards. Through C. Dewayne’s writing he hopes to empower, encourage, and inspire people in ways that they’ll know their worth and value. By writing about issues that affect the community, he hopes to bring change to the world. He wants to make a difference and reach as many people as possible. This desire to effect change is what gave birth to his first book, The Ripple Effect.
