Ivan was born and raised in Southern Indiana. He was honorably discharged in 1980 after serving a six year tour in the US Air Force as a Security Specialist. He has traveled a lot, but now lives in a tropical paradise, Florida, is semi-retired, and writes. He currently creates, writes, and publishes the book series, The Books of Satu-Ra, The Kingdom Kaltar Farsara Built, The Koda Files, The Rostervaust Project, The Books of Anso Madulac, along with books of assorted short stories.
