Since his first literary appearance in 1886, the murderous Mr. Hyde has embodied the evil that even good men—including his alter ego, Henry Jekyll—are capable of when the constraints of civilized life are loosed. This chilling anthology also collects nine of Stevenson’s best-known tales of horror, including The Body-Snatcher," "Markheim," "Thrawn Janet," "The Bottle Imp," "The Isle of Voices," "The Waif Woman," "Olalla," and "Will o' the Mill."

The cover illustrations are beautiful, but I prefer the traditional hardcovers like that of the 'Alice's Adventured in Wonderland & other stories'. I'm hoping they'll make a leather-bound, hardcover, collectible edition of Gaston Leroux's Phantom of the Opera! I would buy it in a heartbeat. Until now, all the hardcovers of the book I've seen are either expensive or unappealing.

While I love the stories, I was mislead into believing this was LEATHERBOUND. It is not, it is one of those FLEX-BOUND covers. Very upset by this to say the least. I've got quite a few books from the Leatherbound collection, and I'm sorry to say that I will be sending this back, highly unsatisfied.

Barnes and Noble: please stop with the flexi-bound covers. I would have bought this book as well as the Washington Irving book if it had been an actual hardcover book.

I ordered the 2016 "leather bound hardcover" version that just came out, and look forward to reading the book. I also like the design on the cover, but I was disappointed when the book arrived because this is not really a hardcover, it is one of the "flexi-bound" covers, sort of between a hardcover and a paperback. I am considering returning the book, because I feel I was mislead on the website as to what I was getting.

I was so disappointed that this was published in the Flexi-bound crap. This is actually the second book that I had been looking forward to B&N bringing out in their Leatherbound collectible editions (the first being Jane Eyre) only to be let down when it was finally published. Please stop making these inferior imitations of your collectible editions and reprint this in hardcover.
