Overview

Demitrius, son of the Archangel Michael, and Mathias, son of the Archangel Gabriel, were with their mutual friend, Melody, exploring places they weren't supposed to, as usual. About the Author

Dexter Carr, Jr., is a Penn State Alumni who's had a passion for writing ever since he was a kid. He often would enter Write-A-Book Contests while he was in elementary school. This story takes his observations growing up and crafted a story inspired by many faiths, beliefs, philosophies, and mythologies. This work is the culmination of his fascination with different forms of mythologies and storytelling.

Tyrell Williams is a young man with a love for art, especially art from eastern cultures, from which he draws his inspirations when drawing. He hopes to develop his own manga/comic series, and works hard to continually master his craft.

In his first novel, Dexter Carr Jr. has created a unique and diverse world, filled with different philosophies and characters. This story is pseudo-religious, akin to Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series. The book was written in my interpretation as a book for the preteen-young teenage group, people should take that into consideration as well. Ultimately, it's about the relationships between parents and their kids, and the forces of Good and Evil that bind them all. I look forward to the sequels.

It overall reads like a shounen manga, without the pictures. For an introduction story, it does leave room to grow, and it does dive into a world of its own, a world of mysticism and divination. It certainly possesses unique concepts, interesting battles and an intricate plot that is much more deeper than what it simply entails. If you are interested in something different, something different from your average Harry Potter magic tale, I'd say give it a try.
