The Two Kingdoms
Abandoned as a baby and found by a wealthy New York couple, Wolverine's start in life became a sign of what was to come. At the age of eight, her adoptive father was tragically killed in an automobile accident on his way to work. Things were difficult for her and her mom but grew even worse when Wolverine's adoptive mother died from cancer one year later. Alone and with no one to care for her, Wolverine was determined to make it on her own. Calling the streets of New York her home, she met two friends, Madeline and Victoria. Although the two girls were only a few years older than Wolverine, the girls took on the responsibility of caring for her. One morning, while Wolverine and her friends were having breakfast, Wolverine learned of an ancient, mythical folk tale. As the legend goes, there was a being (part demon and part angel) from another world brought to Earth as a baby by an evil demon named Ganon. While the story felt familiar to Wolverine, it also left her feeling uneasy. The Two Kingdoms is a story of courage and self-discovery. Read about Wolverine as her true identity unfolds, and she travels to faraway places and learns to follow her instincts. Will her newfound powers be enough to defeat the evil antics of Ganon? Or will she succumb to a force greater than she ever imagined?
