Overview

Paul, the consummate gentleman, with his 2-2-2-5 plan, already an heir apparent in more ways than one, is on a quest to find a suitable wife. Adorable, beautiful Kelly--wealthy in her own right and his childhood friend--is the majority's pick. Mysterious Lily, the outsider from East Africa, catches his attention. Is she a match for Kelly? Can the bashful, unknown Lily win Paul over Kelly's popularity, or is Paul hiding a third alternative secret date, just in case?
Should Paul's unwavering faith count in selecting a suitable wife, notwithstanding statistical trend, or should his status as heir to the Van Clyden Enterprises win?
The Van Clydens' Family Fortune, set in a closely knit community of Southern California, will take you into a world of romance, family secrets, corporate politics and intrigues. Shrouded in surprises, guided by the Light, The Van Clydens' Family Fortune will keep you engaged.

About the Author

I J E Okello is a writer of wholesome contemporary romance fiction, depicting life towards the end of the twentieth century to the present. She grew up in Uganda, East Africa, before coming to America. After years of working in the business world, she incorporates her broad experience to bring characters to life on paper. Faith-based literature permits her, as a writer, to delve into the human soul and create characters that launch from their faith platform to wrestle with real life issues as they mature. Her foray into writing started as a teenager--short stories, poetry - - unpublished. After mulling over story ideas for some time, one day, she took a piece of paper and pencil, and began writing. The Van Clydens' Family Fortune is her first novel. Since then, she has written other books that are on the way.
