About the Author

Jamie Harrison has lived in Montana with her family for almost thirty years. She has worked as a caterer, writer, and as a technical editor for archaeological, botanical, and biological reports. She is the daughter of writer Jim Harrison.


Elisabeth Rodgers is an actress and AudioFile Earphones Award-winning narrator. After graduating from Princeton University, she completed a two-year program at William Esper Studio, where she studied with Maggie Flanigan. Her audiobook narration training came from Robin Miles, who has also directed her in several productions. She has recorded dozens of books for a multitude of publishers.

I won't rehash the plot, as the book description does that adequately. I will say that this was an excellent novel in every way. Beautifully written; believable characters and rich with details from the era. It was one of those books that find one missing the characters, and trying to find a new book which will be half as entertaining.
