About the Author

The longtime Seattle musician caught the tail of a comet in 2012 after being asked to sing the hook on Macklemore’s now iconic song “Thrift Shop” and held on for dear life, riding it to worldwide success, hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, and even a Grammy! Performing since age 6, he has re-invented himself more than a few times over the course of the ’80s, ’90s and 2000s while waiting for his dream of becoming a star to come true.
