Overview

After a Frontier village's monitoring station fails, deadly vampire Nobles return to life, swearing vengeance on the descendants of the family that defeated them three hundred years ago.

The mayor of the village, hoping to save his life and that of his family, hires five vampire hunters, but as the mayor's daughter returns from the Capital, he finds that she has been targeted by five revenge driven Nobles!

About the Author

Hideyuki Kikuchi is a Japanese author famous for his horror novels. His most famous works include the Vampire Hunter D series, Darkside Blues, and Wicked City. He has been compared to both Stephen King and H. P. Lovecraft. Kikuchi was born in Choshi, Japan, on September 25, 1949. He attended Aoyama Gakuin University and was trained as a writer by famed author Kazuo Koike. His first novel, Demon City Shinjuku, was published in 1982. Kikuchi became close friends with writer and director Yoshiaki Kawajiri during his adaption of Wicked City and the two have since collaborated on Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and the OVA of Demon City Shinjuku.

Yoshitaka Amano is a world-renowned fine artist known for his work on Final Fantasy, Sandman, and Vampire Hunter D.

RJ Bayley’s professional talking career began with presenting his chat show on Edinburgh radio. Soon his charming, distinctive British voice was on stations across BBC, TalkSport, and Smooth networks. Unleashing his passion for stories, RJ transitioned to being a full-time audiobook narrator in 2016. Having studied screenwriting to masters level and as an on-air arts critic for the BBC, his theoretical knowledge combined with his natural vocal dexterity allows him to do justice to both text and subtext. He swears he’s not trying to sabotage his own career by deafening himself with heavy metal while walking his dog.
