Overview

Becoming a husband, a father and the excitement of a new life didnt turn out quite as expected for Beltran Perez. An inquisitive young man drafted to fight a controversial war in Vietnam, Beltran is prematurely forced to simultaneously fight his way through the unforeseen and enervating challenges of life and the rigors of manhood and fatherhood. Through You is his first published work and is likely to be his most personal work being that it is based on a true story. Currently, Perez continues to reside in his birthplace of McAllen, Texas.
