Wow, I am accusing Willow Summers of being responsible for lack of my sleep. This is a book that just cant be put down til the end!
This was hot, funny, snarky, and seriously work out for abdominal muscles, becus this is really funny.
I really like how Madison treated the head of their escort services, their dialog was tottaly hilarious.
The chemistry was intoxicated, totaly worth buying it. And this is a standalone one. I hope the next one will give us some glimps on this Thunder cuple.

This was my first read by Willow Summers. I have to say it wasn't exactly what I was expecting from the cover and name. I was expecting a steamy, sexy story and I wasn't disappointed. The surprise was how much the banter between Madison and Colton made me laugh out loud. I loved that Madison was a tell it like it is personality. Madison was dumped by her long term boyfriend 3 weeks before the wedding of another exboyfriend. She didn't care that Frank was breaking up she just didn't want to go to the wedding dateless. Her best friend Janie recommends Big Dick's Escort Service. Colton was tired of being an escort and was ready to quit. He takes one more job since there is no request for extra services. A lot happens in the book to help you get to know the main characters, Janie and several of the other escorts that work with Colton.
Willow entertained me and made me fall in love with all the characters. I recommend this book and I promptly got the next book in the series.

It’s been a while since I’ve read anything by Willow Summer, but when I saw the cover and the synopsis I couldn’t wait to read the book and it didn’t disappoint at all. Thunder is the first book in the Big D Escort series and it follows the story of two total opposites who end up going on an adventure that would ultimately change their lives forever. At the beginning of the story we get to meet Colton “Thunder,” whose live as an escort is starting to tired him out. He wants to start something new and start a family if he finds the right girl. But being on demand and having a long list of women ready to pay anything to be with him is making it harder for him to quit. It is when there is a request for an escort that doesn’t work for the company anymore that interests him and he decides to take one last client before leaving for good. Little did he know that meeting Madison would change the course of his life.
It all began with an invitation to a wedding that Madison wasn’t expecting to get invited to, and now that her boyfriend suddenly breaks up with her she has no one to go to the wedding with. Madison hasn’t always had the best luck when it comes to guys and she has been hurt in the past. Her best friend has been her rock and when she decides to hire an escort, her friend is supportive of her decision. It’s when she meets Colton for the first time that Madison knows that he is different and the more time they spend together the more she wants to be with him. But soon she starts to question her relationship with him and that could threaten their relationship going forward.
I enjoyed reading Thunder very much, it was funny and romantic. Colton was sweet towards Maddison from the very beginning and he supported her when she needed him the most. It’s evident from the start that both of the characters just want to move on with their lives, but by helping each other they are ultimately growing closer than ever before. I loved the secondary characters in the story as well, they gave the book the edge that it needed. From beginning to end, the author did a great job describing the setting and developing the characters. The ending will definitely leave you wanting for more. I highly recommend reading this book and any other by the author. :)

Thunder by Willow Summers is a fun book. Ms. Summers has delivered a well-written book. I love the characters and their interactions. Kudos to Ms. Summers for the awesome cast of characters. Madison and Colton's story is packed with drama, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed reading Thunder, the humor was perfect. I look forward to reading more from Willow Summers in the future. Thunder is book 1 of the Big D Escort Service Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

The characters could every well be your best friends. Loved the comrade of the guys and same with Jane and Madison. Hated for the story to end, can't wait to read the next book in the series. I recommend this author. Mjw

This book was wonderful! If you enjoy smart, funny, well built men you will LOVE this book. I even laughed out loud several times. I enjoyed reading this book. The characters were very well developed, and can draw you into the story easily. Just an all around good book !!

This book is a wild ride. I enjoyed the fast pace and explosive passion between Madison and Colton. Madison and her best friend, Janie, are wonderfully loyal and totally hilarious. It's a great read that will give you the warm fuzzies AND electric tingles all over by the time you finish it.

This is totally not my normal book genre - I like fantasy, but I like the author and have read her other books and she is great writer so I figured I would give this book a chance. I am glad I did, I loved this book! It is witty and humorous and the characters are real and stupid like normal people who like each other but don't know what to do about it. Madison is a normal girl who just got dumped by her boyfriend three weeks before a wedding she really wants to attend, with a date! It is her ex-boyfriends wedding and she still has issues with how he dumped her. A friend suggests she get an escort and after a lot of back and forth she decided she has no other choice.
He shows up - Thunder. He is not what she signed up for but he would do the job. He ends being a lot more than Madison expected and of course she is attracted to him!
Thunder was just about to get out of the business but decided on one last gig. Of course he finds out Madison is more than she seems and he is attracted to her.
Neither one of them is looking for someone else but sometimes things just happen I guess.
This really was a great book,I read it pretty fast because it kept me entertained.
Oh yeah and it had a few romancy parts!
Totally recommend this!

Witty, funny and lots of awesome romance. I love this author's writing style and have most of her books, but this is your typical romance book and I am someone who likes something different rather than boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, happily ever after... But it's a short story and I did enjoy it- the relationship moved really really fast which I wasn't too crazy about but some hot scenes made up for it!

Thunder is book 1 in the Big D escort service series. Thunder AKA Colton is an escort, but he's burned out, tired of dealing with rich women. Just when he's on the verge of quitting an interesting request comes through for an escort that's not longer with the service. It has him curious enough to take on this one last client before he's officially done. Madison is successful, classy, but has bad luck in love. First her first love publicly dumps her humiliating her and now her current boyfriend ends things three weeks before an important wedding she needs to attend. When Frank dumps her, Madison doesn't care. The only part that bothers her is now she doesn't have a date for James' wedding and that just will not work. When her friend Janie suggests that she contact an escort service, she thinks that she's lost her mind. But desperate times call for desperate measures.
I absolutely loved this book. It was so much fun, I couldn't put it down. I started it last night at 11:30p thinking that I'd read a few pages and pick it up in the morning... well that didn't work out so well, at 4:30a after I dropped my ipad on my poor dogs head, since he was laying on the floor next to where I sleep I finally put it down and then finished the last few pages this morning. This book had me cracking up, the comedy, the chemistry between the characters, and don't worry there was plenty of hot/steamy scenes to keep you thoroughly entertained. I absolutely cannot wait for Dave and Janie's story!!! Hope this helps!! Happy Reading!!!

This is a fun romance book with lots of humor. There were some parts that had me laughing out loud. Madison's boyfriend decides to break it off with her and the part that has her angry is that she now has no boyfriend to take to an upcoming wedding. She absolutely must have a date for this wedding. Madison's best friend suggests an escort service. She meets Colton when he shows up to take her to the wedding and the adventure begins. This book has humor, adventure, romance and is really fun to read.

This book was so great. It does have domestic violence in it, but it is dealt with well. It is mostly dealing with the immediate crisis after. The book is absolutely hysterical in places--I highlighted sections to read to my husband and he laughed too. Colton and Madison are a very unlikely couple, but are absolutely perfect for each other. She is an executive and he is an escort she hires to attend her high school ex-boyfriend's wedding with her. She is generally socially awkward and he makes his living being gorgeous while also being whatever a woman needs for the night. They are electric from the start. A must read!

Don't be deceived by the title or series title! I wasn't sure what to expect, but love Summers' other books. It's a really funny, sassy, light read. I loved the awkwardly real moments the characters had. I enjoyed the chemistry. Colton is dreamy and Madison has spunk. I laughed out loud reading this book. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!

Thunder pulled me in from the beginning and had me laughing out loud... a lot! I love the leading lady, Madison... she's snarky and strong and a force to be reckoned with, even as she's dealing with past hurts from her HS days. Her best friend, Janie, is also quite the character. Thunder (Colton) is definitely more than just an escort... as are his friends. There are scenes that will leave you laughing and others will leave you fanning yourself because they are hot! There's definitely emotion woven into the story as well as Madison faces her past. I've enjoyed stories by Willow Summers before and this one did not disappoint! Looking forward to more from Big D Escort Services...and LOVE their logo...hilarious!!

Awesome story !
Madison a/k/a Maddie is a success in business but her personal life is another matter. She’s been in a stagnant relationship with her boyfriend of 5 years, Frank. She has been invited to attend her ex-boyfriend, James’s wedding. Three weeks before the wedding Frank decides to break up with her. What is Maddie to do? Her best friend, Janie suggests Big D Escort Services. She’s appalled at the very thought but as time looms closer and closer to the wedding, she’s forced to concede.
Colton, a/k/a Thunder, is the most requested escort in Big D Escort Service but he’s grown tired of the business and decides to quit. But as fate would have it Maddie’s request comes in and it intrigues him. So he decides to do one last job!
Colton is not at all what Maddie had requested or expected. He’s extremely handsome and confident and intimidating the heck out of her. It turns out to be a very interesting night, where passions get ignited and previously set boundaries are crossed.
This story was so good. Maddie was an awesome character, a succesful businesswoman and she was hilarious. I couldn’t stop laughing at the things that came out of her mouth, especially that scene at the gym when she went looking for Big D’s owner. Awesome! Her best friend and Colton’s friends had me in stitches as well. I can’t wait to read about Janie and Dave.
The only thing I had a problem with the story is that the whole situation with Maddie’s ex-boyfriends were kind of just left out there hanging in the wind with no resolution/confrontation, especially after what James did. I would have wanted more follow through on those issues. But overall, it’s a very good read. I enjoyed the characters and the plot and the connection between Maddie and Colton.

Easy, witty, entertaining read!!
From the start you instantly fall in love with Madison and her snark. She’s everything you want in the lead female - smart, independent, sarcastic and funny. Then enters the god, Colton. Handsome, genuine, honest and sweet. You know immediately they’d make a power couple. Definitely worth the read to find out their story!!

A fabulously funny, sexy book with an easy to follow storyline. It draws you in and is uncomplicated enough to allow you get completely submerged in the lives of these lovable characters. (Willow Summers always writes great characters!). Very difficult to put down. I'm looking forward to the next instalment, following the story of another of the books focal characters.
