The author of Voices of Minnesota History 1836-1946, Bonnie Beatson Palmquist, has produced a new volume of poetry. Chapters include”Time Frame,” “One With All,” “Looking Down the Road,” and “Tender the Words.” These poems invoke the past, both personal and historical, ranging from nostalgia and lament to celebration and hope.

About the Author
Bonnie Beatson Palmquist was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She received a BA degree from Metropolitan State University in 1997 and an MA degree from Hamline University in Saint Paul in 1990. Her master's thesis chronicled the Christie family and immigration to the United States. She worked for 23 years as a manuscript cataloger for the Minnesota Historical Society before retiring in 1995.
