Most Helpful Customer Reviews
I don't typically read books in the self-help genre. I usually find them to be a little condescending, and a lot of talk, but not actionable. Tiny Leaps is not that!! It is to-the-point advice on how to both understand why we behave certain ways, and how to change that behavior. I especially resonated with the section about motivation. You hear far too often how to find your motivation, but Gregg argues that sometimes, you just have to get to work, motivated or not. Each section also includes a tiny leap challenge, a small actionable item to try out to change your behavior. Instead of being given the typical empty pep talk, you'll learn about the psychology behind your habits and behavior. Because that is the point--the only way we will actually change our lives is to be honest about what we are doing and choose to change.
