About the Author

As a young boy, Daniel was always lost in his own world. He would practice escapism through storytelling and would get lost in his imagination. As Danny grew up, he became infatuated by the power of words. He loved the physical effects a phrase would have on an individual and became enamored with poetry. As a gay Latino, Danny would use poetry and writing to make sense of his world and the struggles he faced. And through writing, Daniel hopes to help others make sense of their world and understand that they are not alone.
