I bought this for my 22 month old son and the moment I saw it I knew it wouldn't hold his attention. It is a very short board book much like the ones I read to him when he was an infant. The language, pictures, and story in this book are geared towards a very young audience. Not appropriate for the toddler age group that will be starting to use the potty. He looked at it once and that was it.

This is a great book and I feel as though it has made a difference in my son who is too big for diapers. He loves the book as Ernie connects to the 'big' idea.
