Overview

Even though new exoplanets are found every year, the chances of finding one that could support humans are extremely low. Nevertheless, astronomer Samuel Catoran is ecstatic when he discovers an unusual planet located 16 light-years away in the Galus system. When the planet, named Catora, is confirmed as habitable, the famed EM Tether technology is used to take the initial expeditionary force to the planet.

Chris's innate curiosity leads him to explore new realms of possibilities on Catora. But he is unaware of the potential dangers and challenges that await him. He makes his way out to cope with this bizarre reality while rubbing shoulders with some incredible allies and new friends, despite the difficulties he faces along the road. Eventually, he realizes that what he signed up for was something abysmal and terrifying.

About the Author

I grew up in a house on a lake and spent my younger years riding dirt bikes and shooting guns. When asked what I wanted to be growing up, I usually said, Ninja or Spy. I never cared much for school growing up. To my mind, there was always something better to be doing. When I graduated high school, I moved out of state and spent the next 5 years away from home before moving back to Idaho. I have lived in 5 states and visited many more during that time. I followed in my mother’s footsteps for many years and worked multiple positions in the real estate world. I have since changed careers and I now work as a professional smart home and security technician. I love traveling as much as possible and still take family vacations to Mexico every couple of years. Family is a very big part of my life and background. No matter what, family always comes first. I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie and have dealt with many broken bones throughout my life. Most recently, I have had two shoulder surgeries in the last 6 years. Bother were broken collar bones. One from a motorcycle accident and another from a snowboarding accident. Huge science fiction junkie and over the past 3 years I have listened to or read over 400 books. Love anything to do with space, aliens or exoplanets.
