About the Author

Nancy Palmer, OTD OTR/L, CEAS, began with a B.A. in Sociology/Biology. A pediatric specialist, Nancy, engages daily with students from preschool through age 18. Her vision for illustrating Treasure of the Iguana emerged during the summer internship at a college in the Caribbean, where she encountered iguanas in the rainforest. There were also giant millipedes and myriads of other insects and spiders–but that is another story! Nancy and her mother, Priscilla, along with their two cats, Tutti Fruitti and Henrietta Hot Paws, live and share stories in the land of hidden gems and lost gold mines.
