About the Author

Lauryn McDaniel has taught first, second, and third graders for twelve years, with a BA in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University. She is passionate about teaching diverse learners and working with children with special needs. She loves spending her days with her husband and three active children. Her playful son, Emric was the inspiration for Trevor the Tomorrow Turtle, her first children's book.

A born artist, Cat Faust has created costumes and sets for theatre, murals for mansions, portraits for pets, and sculpted fantasy creatures. Cat's colorful illustrations have brightened elementary education books and now bring sweet Trevor the Tomorrow Turtle to these pages. Of all her artistic endeavors, Cat most loves creating "kid friendly" art. Cat, husband Adam and daughter, Sophia live in Vero Beach, Florida.
