About the Author

Carolyn is the fourth of ten children, born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She grew up in a military family and subsequently traveled and lived in many places. After high school, where she received the Logos Award for literary merit, she earned her master’s degree in teaching and has enjoyed a long career in education.
