Tripod: How Two Teenage Boys Inspire An Entire Community

You never know how you'll react till you're confronted with a life-or-death decision. For two teenage boys innocently walking to summer camp on a clear, sun-shiny morning, they acted swiftly with courage and conviction to save the life of a badly injured dog.

The quick thinking of Joey and Asher set off a chain of extraordinary events that united the community - from Dr. Egger and his staff to the kids and counselors at Happy Days Camp - as everyone rallied around the rescue and healing of this dog, which they aptly named Tripod.

Even more remarkable is this tale is inspired by a true story. This community showed the same limitless compassion to Tripod's survival and care that every dog gives back unconditionally. This book is a feel-good, must-read that highlights the inventiveness of teenagers and illustrates the positive energy that is generated from meaningful collaboration toward a good cause. This story is an adventure of how a community came together to deliver kindness, caring and love.
